Duke of Edinburgh, Mill Street, Beswick. (c) Manmates .
The Duke of Edinburgh is shown in 1963 as a Walker's pub and in 1971 as a Tetley's house on Mill Street, Beswick. As late as 1989, this huge corner pub was still serving Tetley's on this once heavily-pubbed street . The last boozer to go was the Bradford / Champagne Charlies / Guvnors. The Duke of Edinburgh was at 366 Mill Street, which places it just where Mill Street now ends and has made way for Alan Turing Way.
