Navigation Inn, Deansgate

Former site of the Navigation Inn, Deansgate. (c) googlemaps.

Opposite what used to be the Bridge, was the Navigation Inn on the corner of Bridgewater Street and Deansgate (temporary car park in above pic), slap bang across Deansgate from the Crown (which still stands today as the Deansgate). The reverse of the 1849 shows the pub at No.328 Deansgate, being run by James Thomas [1].
